Judging & Mentoring

What is the role of Judging and Mentoring?

Judging and Mentoring will provide you with the knowledge and expertise of real business people applied specifically to your project – to help guide it towards success.

Judges and mentors are successful business people with real-life entrepreneurial experience. They can be venture capitalists, angel investors, entrepreneurs or professional services providers. Many of them have been involved with MUEC for several years.

Judging, throughout the three rounds of competition, will put your project in front of a panel of judges from many different backgrounds and industries that will provide you with valuable insights and feedback from many different perspectives.

On the other hand, all teams that successfully go through to the Semi-finals are assigned a mentor to provide one-on-one guidance in the elaboration of their business plan. Thus, Mentoring will provide your team with ongoing, targeted advice from a specialist in your project’s particular field.
